Regular photos can be edited. Verdkt photos are sealed at the shutter with a cryptographic fingerprint, countersigned by DigiCert® (an independent timestamping authority), attested by the Apple® Secure Enclave, and embedded with C2PA Content Credentials.

No. Verdkt is built for short-term rental hosts everywhere, whether you list on Airbnb®, VRBO®, Booking.com™, or take direct bookings. The report is yours to use wherever you need it.

No. Not in photos, not in metadata, not in reports. Reports are assembled by deterministic software. The same inputs always produce the same document, like a bank statement. Airbnb®’s 2026 terms explicitly exclude AI-generated content from acceptable evidence. Verdkt is built around that.

C2PA (Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity) is an open standard for embedding provenance data directly in a photo file. It’s backed by Adobe®, Google®, Sony®, and others.

If you inspect between every stay, each checkout record doubles as the baseline for the next guest, so you’re always covered. And you can run a standalone inspection anytime to refresh your baseline.

Your photos are stored securely on Verdkt’s servers, encrypted and private to you. They’re never shared or made public, and the record remains yours.

No, and that’s deliberate. An imported photo has no chain of custody: no capture-time seal, no trusted timestamp, no hardware attestation. Allowing imports would make every Verdkt report easier to challenge. Your first in-app inspection becomes your baseline.
